Who we are

What we collect, and why
Contact form. Your name, email address and message, plus your phone number if you provide it. We use them to reply to you and arrange a first conversation.
Audit enquiry form. Your name, work email, company, the service you are interested in, and optionally your timeline and team size, plus what you want to achieve. We use them to reply and to prepare for a first conversation.
IT quote form. Your name, work email, company, the kind of equipment or software you need, and optionally quantity and timeline, plus your message. We use them to prepare a quote.
Newsletter. Your email address, so we can send occasional notes on data and AI. Every email has a way to unsubscribe, or you can email us.
With every form we also record the page you sent it from and the time. Cloudflare briefly uses your IP address to limit repeated submissions. When configured, Cloudflare Turnstile adds a security check. We do not store your IP address with your message.
Our lawful basis
Replying to an enquiry or preparing a quote is a step you ask us to take before a possible contract. The newsletter relies on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Spam protection relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the forms working.
Who processes it for us
Cloudflare hosts this website and stores form submissions. Brevo delivers the notification emails we receive when you send a form. Google Workspace hosts our email. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are deleted automatically 12 months after they are received, unless we have gone on to work together, in which case they become part of our client records. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. Turnstile may set a cookie needed for its security check.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email hello@wharfedale.ai. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
